About Me
I have been working in media production for over 7 years, including videography and photography, social media marketing, and website design. I am a freelance drone operator, photographer and filmmaker during my time in the UK. I am running my YouTube channel named ‘Duncan Si Channel’ over years. My goal is to produce decent videos to share with fun and to introduce some new products I am keen of with those may feel interested also.

The University of Leeds
(Bachelor of Arts - Digital Media BA)
I graduated from University of Leeds in 2024, focused on both the theoretical and practical sides in my degree. Apart from conducting research and writing papers, I enjoyed my time on year one for practical lessons, including graphic design, website deisgn, UI/UX design, etc. In the second year, there was an opportunity to work with my classmates as a team to finish a digital media project. During my third year, I undertook an individual project that allowed me to delve deeper into my interests. From research and pitch design to creating a documentary and delivering an in-class presentation, I was responsible for every aspect of the project. This journey not only strengthened my research and analytical skills but also enhanced my confidence in public speaking and presenting my ideas to an audience.
Hong Kong Design Institute
(Film and Video)
From 2018 to 2020, I attended courses at the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), dedicating my Saturdays to this technical college to build a strong foundational skill set in photography, video shooting, and video editing. During this time, I had numerous opportunities to collaborate with my classmates on various projects, including the production of short films. These collaborative experiences not only allowed me to enhance my technical abilities but also significantly improved my communication and teamwork skills, as we navigated the challenges of project planning and execution together. Furthermore, I was able to delve deeper into the nuances of professional video equipment and techniques, gaining hands-on experience that solidified my understanding of the industry standards. This practical exposure was invaluable, providing insights into the creative process and the importance of effective collaboration in achieving a polished final product.
